So I'm in a dilema here....We caught a box turtle a few months ago trying to cross over a very busy street. So we kept him, We've had him/her we're really not sure which for about two months. I call her "she," or verne as we named her. Verne is actually a very good turtle I just feel bad because I'm afraid she's going to miss her home and what if she has baby's out there?!?! So I've been debating with myself if we should keep her or let her go. She stays at Dustins and he feeds her most of the time, I just insist she take an occasional walk to get out and about and to go potty soemwhere other than in her tank, which is unsanitary. Dustin thinks I'm crazy! :) But I would feel so bad letting her go not to mention the loneliness of not having a "pet" no I can not cuddle with verne because she will bite me or scratch me so thats out of the question but its nice to take care of something and treat it as if its whole life depends on you(well it kinda does) lol. So I have to think about it. If Dustin wants to get me a puppy (perferably a puggle) then Verne your home free! :)
